1. Essen Medical Associates Data Breach ($4 Million Settlement)

What happened: In 2023, Essen Medical Associates experienced a data breach that exposed patient information, including Social Security numbers and health insurance details. The lawsuit claims the company didn't have proper security measures in place.

Who can claim: People in the U.S. whose personal information may have been exposed between March 14-22, 2023.

What you could get: Up to $5,000 if you can show you suffered losses, or up to $100 as a simple cash payment.

Deadline: June 1, 2026

 

2. Blood Pressure Medication Settlement ($15.2 Million Total)

What happened: Three drug manufacturers—Aurobindo, Hetero, and Vivimed—are settling claims that their blood pressure medications (valsartan, losartan, and irbesartan) were contaminated with cancer-causing substances called nitrosamines.

Who can claim: People who bought these specific medications from these manufacturers between January 1, 2016, and now.

What you could get: Up to $200 for Aurobindo customers and up to $120 for Hetero customers.

Deadline: June 2, 2026

 

3. GlaxoSmithKline Boostrix Vaccine Settlement

What happened: GlaxoSmithKline is settling claims that its "Big Bad Cough" advertising campaign was misleading about how well the Boostrix vaccine prevents whooping cough.

Who can claim: Adults who lived in New York, saw the "Big Bad Cough" ads between May 20, 2016, and May 20, 2020, and then got the Boostrix vaccine.

What you could get: $50 if you have proof you got the vaccine, or $10 without proof.

Deadline: June 8, 2026

 

4. Trader Joe's Receipt Settlement ($7.4 Million)

What happened: Trader Joe's is settling claims that it printed too much credit card information on receipts. Federal law limits how much card information can appear on receipts, but the company allegedly showed more digits than allowed.

Who can claim: People who used a payment card at Trader Joe's between March 5, 2019, and July 19, 2019, and received a receipt showing the first six and last four digits of their card number.

What you could get: About $102.45

Deadline: June 9, 2026

 

5. Grubhub Driver Settlement ($24.75 Million)

What happened: Grubhub is settling claims that it wrongly classified California drivers as independent contractors instead of employees, which denied them certain benefits and protections under state law.

Who can claim: Grubhub drivers who completed at least one delivery in California between December 3, 2014, and March 13, 2026.

What you could get: At least $25 (possibly more depending on how many deliveries you made).

Deadline: June 18, 2026

 

6. Complete Payroll Solutions Data Breach ($2.6 Million)

What happened: Complete Payroll Solutions experienced a data breach in March 2024 that exposed employee information, including Social Security numbers and insurance details.

Who can claim: People who received a notice about this data breach from Complete Payroll Solutions.

What you could get: Up to $5,000 for proven losses, about $100 as a cash payment, and three years of free credit monitoring.

Deadline: June 18, 2026

 

7. Avis Data Breach Settlement

What happened: Avis is settling claims that a data breach in August 2024 exposed customer information, including payment card details, because the company failed to properly protect its systems.

Who can claim: People whose personal information was compromised in the August 2024 Avis data breach.

Who can claim: People who received a notice from Lakeview about the October 11, 2021, data breach.

What you could get: Up to $5,000 for proven losses, a share of settlement funds, and extra money for California residents.

10. Tyson and Cargill Beef Price-Fixing ($87.5 Million)

What happened: Tyson and Cargill are settling claims that they worked together to keep beef prices artificially high, causing consumers to overpay for beef products.
